Comfortable, expertly designed dentures from our Tacoma dental office

At our restorative and cosmetic dental practice, we offer the latest in denture technology to ensure our patients have the most comfortable fit for the most natural and long-lasting results.

When you visit us to get dentures, our team will work closely with you to find the best solution for your oral health and your budget. We offer the following different types of denture services:

Full Dentures: Full dentures are required when a full set of teeth need to be replaced. They fit over the entire gum and are held in place by a natural suction effect that is caused by fitting closely onto the residual ridges of your gums.

• Partial Dentures: If you have a few missing teeth but your remaining teeth are healthy, you can be fitted with a partial denture to fill in any gaps. These dentures come in the form of temporary transitional partial dentures made of gum colored resin or more durable removable partial dentures that utilize lightweight metal to hold the artificial teeth in place.

• Implant-Supported Overdentures:
These are dentures which are anchored in place with dental implants that are placed directly into the jawbone, making them more comfortable, functional and stable.

• All-on-4: A procedure that is generating a great deal of excitement among dental professionals and consumers alike is All-on-4 – also known as “Tooth Replacement in a Day.” This procedure replaces all of the teeth in a single arch, or both arches, of teeth, with a custom-fabricated fixed denture. By anchoring this to your jaw with four dental implants, this becomes a long-term solution with many advantages over traditional, removable dentures.

What happens in the denture fitting process?

As fit and comfort are key to getting the best results from your dentures, the fitting process is very important. We will use impression material to obtain a mold of your mouth. Lab technicians, overseen by Dr. Phillips, will then build your denture, carefully selecting prosthetic teeth that will give you a natural, attractive smile as well as full functionality.

Your permanent dentures will then be fitted and our team will give you all the information you need on caring for and living with your new smile.
